GALLANT Gathering 2026
We are excited to announce the date for our final GALLANT Gathering:
-
International Impact and Engagement: establishing GALLANT findings and messages as a key part of global discussion around “whole-system solutions to climate and environmental challenges”
-
Regional Impact and Community Partnerships: influencing policy and practice decisions at the Glasgow level and cementing local partnerships for future research
-
Research Impact and Building on Success: sharing research best practice, embedding systems approaches among researchers, and identifying priority areas for future research
The GALLANT Gathering programme activities, currently being planned, include 2 walking tours and a presentation by Professor Kate Raworth on Doughnut Economics.
The Thriving Glasgow walking tour around Glasgow City Centre will showcase how the city and businesses within the city are moving to more sustainable practices that follow Doughnut Economics practices.
The nature connectedness walking tour along the the River Kelvin will provide an accessible, reflective way to engage with urban green spaces and invite participants to share their own experiences of local green spaces on communiMap, a community science app developed by the GALLANT project.
